Quarantine tales

Today on online school I did absolutely nothing at some point I’ve realized  I’ll start doing my work which I guess is now .We’ve recently been informed that all students from Alabama are out of school for the rest of the year. Now any other student would of seen this as good information meaning a longer break out of school and no school work being required. Seeing that some students aren’t too fond of attending school this is just another excuse for students to say they couldn’t get there work done. The pandemic is of course a major deal but this break is really a major set back for students. I understand this is a way to try and protect people but what will be the long term effects of this break .Will 2020 seniors have the chance to cross the stage, attend prom, and finish of the rest of their last year technically with-ought the burden of being an adult. How will this effect 2021 graduating students or children going from daycare to head start or pre K. Saying that we could understand the disappointment seniors are going through is an understatement. Most of us are told graduation will be one of the best days of our lives a way to show the accomplishments of the long 12+ years being dedicated to education for the better but that was taken away from students who worked so hard to finally made it to the end of the line. Being stuck in this house is probably the most challenging thing I’ve had to do in a long time. Being in a home with family spraying disinfectant spray and hand sanitizer at every turn could literally make a door knob go insane. From what I know I’m still corona free also and hope to stay that way withought being in containment like a zoo animal. Plus the over load of work isn’t helping either just adding more stress.
