Splitting

Today in class we went over chapter 1&2 of the book wild and shared our critical questions. One of my critical questions was what did Cheryl’s (the main character in the story) mother mean by saying they weren’t poor but rich in love. While discussing it with the class it was brought to my attention that her mother could of been saying yes they were poor, but the love she had for them and they had for each other was enough to help them survive and suffice.
